Our growing firm has an exciting new opportunity for a PROJECT SURVEYOR.

This PROJECT SURVEYOR, will lead the Baxter office survey operations and provide support to other Bolton & Menk offices as needed; this includes field, office and professional responsibilities. Must be knowledgeable in and capable of performing field surveys using GPS, robotic, leveling and traditional survey equipment and performing construction staking processes. Must be experienced with public and private land survey projects, CAD, survey and boundary records research, PLS surveys, platting and client contact. Must be willing to travel to other offices and remote project sites, including occasional overnight/extended travel.

• The qualified candidate is a Minnesota Licensed Land Surveyor or will be registered within 3-6 months
• (4) year LS Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of (5) years of combined survey office and field experience.
• Knowledge of legal descriptions is required. Good communication and collaboration skills are a requirement for this position.

Preferred:

• Solid understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with DOT safety requirements and municipal infrastructure are also preferred.

The selected candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable at the Firm’s standard rates. A motor vehicle record (MVR) check is a standard condition of employment.
